Why not 'practice' your lifestyle
…and bring lifestyle to your specialist medical practice in the growing neighbourhood of Karaka?

Why Karaka?
Karaka, just off the motorway at Papakura, is now a thriving community, with beautiful waterfront homes, lifestyle blocks, esplanade walkways and new schools. Growth in this area continues apace, with new homes being built throughout Drury, Paerata and Pukekohe. Karaka is the best of South Auckland – semi-rural living with excellent facilities and easy access to transport routes.
Practicing South of the City
9km south of Manukau Superclinic, our patients come from central, south and east Auckland. We have an extensive established referral network built over more than 20 years of specialist practice in the area. Excellent imaging is available nearby in Papakura, Takanini, Manukau and Pukekohe. Theatre time is available in both Ormiston and Pukekohe. Our local population are delighted to be able to access expert care closer to home, with high rates of private health insurance and many families happy to self-fund access to the care they need.
Our purpose-built rooms are often remarked upon for their warm welcoming feel and beautiful local artworks. We have space suitable to both adult and paediatric patients, are fully accessible and have baby changing facilities in the accessible patient bathroom. Our aim is to create a space where we enjoy working and our patients feel welcomed,
a place where we can practice medicine in a sustainable, rewarding way.
Our rooms are co-located with a GP practice, pharmacy and physiotherapy. Audiology, dental and orthodontic practices are in the same complex. We also have a number of eateries, a great wine shop as well as childcare and a gym. Summerset at Karaka is right next door.
What’s in the area?
Local schools include ACG Strathallan, catering for preschool to Year 13 and the highest performing secondary school in South Auckland, as well as the newly established Hingaia Peninsula School and Rosehill Intermediate and College.
Equestrian pursuits remain popular, Pukekohe to the south is a well-established thriving township, Kariotahi to the west provides excellent surfing, explore the beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails in Hunua to the east.
Fine dining options include Bracu off the motorway at Bombay and Ethereal Artisan Kitchen, a short wander from our rooms at the new local Hilton. SuMei in Pukekohe offers some of the best modern Asian fusion delights.
Further afield…
Leaving the city to head to the mountain or Coromandel – you’ve got a significant headstart. Even better, discover the delights of the beautiful Awhitu Peninsula and avoid the traffic altogether. We are 20 min from Auckland International Airport and 7 min to Papakura train station, connecting both north and south.
